19 Greek Street, Soho
310 cups of daytime coffee served and 500 glasses evening wines
We hosted a unique exhibition for our client Metro which took place over 3 days Soho’s 19 Greek Street. The exhibition consisted of urban art, photography, film, poetry, music and interactive installations. Guests travelled through a cinema room, live art, music and a rooftop experiential garden, discovering the highs and lows of living in the city.
Each floor was filled with a different experience to explore, each one diverse with a varied range of emotions expressed through art, film, music and creative installations.
In the basement we built a secret cinema, with plush red velvet seats and individual headsets. On the first floor there were live artists, one creating images from old Metro newspapers, another creating a mural from words supplied by guests about living in the city. This floor also housed the main bar which served breakfast, lunch and coffee then later was the main space for the evening drinks receptions. On every floor there were unique ‘urban rubbish’ sculptures and paintings on display.
Guilty Pleasures news room was found on the second floor, which had a few famous faces pop in through the week! On the third floor, guests were able to experience cycling the UK’s cities with virtual maps and lots of pedal power. Finally we created an Urban Roof top garden on the top floor, this was a great space for our guests to hang out.
