For 12 years GHD have worked hard to raise money for breast cancer charities, with over a staggering £9m raised and despite the challenges of 2020, not even a pandemic and national lockdown could stop the brand or the Plain Jane team from continuing this valuable work and hosting the annual ‘pink’ campaign. In collaboration with Breast Cancer Now and with the theme being vintage pink, the Plain Jane team worked with GHD to deliver a specialist box to those who could offer imperative coverage to the cause, including influencers and press.
Collating, styling, and dispatching these one-of-a-kind boxes, the Plain Jane team sourced indulgent bespoke cookies from Baked By Steph, a luxury candle stick from Tom Dixon, Silk scrunchies and vital information about breast cancer awareness – reminding all Womxn to “Touch your Boobs, look at your Boobs and CHECK your Boobs". These items were delivered along with the special GHD styling iron or a marvellously pink blow-dryer with press releases being sent with an additional fabulous bouquet of dried pink flowers.
