How better to celebrate being 50 and fabulous than with an outrageously flamboyant drag disco? Plain Jane Events dialled up the drama with a playful pink carpet leding guests through a theatrically oversized balloon installation for stylish entrances guaranteed! Guests were greeted by the fun and flirtatious topless hosts, armed with bubbles in their hands and glitter on their boots. In the Drag Parlour, guests were transformed into dancing queens by the hottest makeup artist in drag, Johnny Bones, who embellished them with glitter and good vibes, and readied them for photos and giggles in the dedicated booth.
The glamorous mirror bar served chic and showy tipples, while disco balls, glitter, hot pinks, a silver dance floor, a gold shimmer wall and mirrored plinths dazzled with drag queen’s delight, each adding to the already-exuberant atmosphere. Live acts, including London’s hottest drag DJ, Grace Hush, and lip sync drag act, Margo Marshall, lit the disco vibes alight, and took the party to next outlandish level. The cherry on top was the drag-tastic cake - a two-tiered triumph that baked in all the glitter, shimmer, fun and frolics of the evening, giving guests an extra helping of hedonism with each glorious bite.
