Private Birthday & Halloween Party

The dark side of Campden Hill came alive during the Halloween festivities when we had the pleasure of transforming our client’s house Alexander McQueen style, for a double celebration of Halloween and turning the big ‘40’.

As guests approached the warm red glow and impactful floral installation at the entrance, they were greeted by their butler host who lead them into the party, where they were offered smoky cocktails and chilled bubbles. The main space and garden held a dark and seductive charm under a bespoke built marquee, custom made to fit our client’s first floor terrace and coming down over the ground floor garden to combine two spaces into one.

Flowers, dried petals, balloons and pumpkin installations featured throughout the rooms in deep burgundies, purples and blacks. Individually sourced décor containing; bison skulls, insects, painted pumpkins, candles, aged books and moody ambient lighting all added to the haunted eccentric townhouse vibe.

Guests were entertained with close-up magic from our enigmatic illusionist and contortionist while they indulge on sumptuous canapés. During the party a murder is discovered and guests are treated to a scene by our professional actors; keeping everyone in hilarious fits of laughter and curiosity.

Upstairs guests were welcomed to a delicious sharing feast on handsomely styled long tables with background music from the live DJ. Questioning commences from the detectives in a quest to find the culprit of the murder, and the denouement of the plot is announced over a daring chocolate popping candy dessert.

Downstairs the party continues with drinks flowing from the bar with a stream of smoke trailing onto the dancefloor and the DJ in full swing. A final contortionist performance happened before an alluring burlesque show, which left our clients’ guests feeling fully entertained, fed and astounded.
